CPS CASE PACKING SYSTEMS HAS OPENED A TEST ROOM. AVAILABLE FOR (POTENTIAL) CUSTOMERS TO DEMONSTRATE AND/OR TEST A MACHINE APPLICATION WITH THEIR OWN PRODUCTS. BY PROVIDING CUSTOMERS THIS SERVICE WE CAN GIVE OUR ADVICE ON SELECTING THE RIGHT CASE PACKER AND AS WELL DEMONSTRATE WHAT THE ADDED VALUE IS FOR THE CUSTOMER.

CPS has equipped the CP201 case packer with eight cameras in critical positions so that a real-time demonstration can be done remotely, or a video can be captured and sent to the customer later. CPS had been walking around with this idea for some time, but the corona pandemic and the inability to travel freely has accelerated the implementation. For example, the CP 201 gravity case packer, which has been especially developed to pack very compact horizontal flexible bags with frozen product in boxes at high speed. With a CP201 case packer, more kg/m3 is packed than is possible by hand. Products include frozen chips, vegetables, meat and fish. This is done according to pre-programmed packaging patterns.

IN LINE
While the case is being loaded, it is vibrated, so that the volume of the bags in the box is further reduced. The CP 201 case packer line can be expanded with many options that make the line complete according to product and customer's choice. Such as four-sided clamping of the box, extra vibrators to properly fill the box with products what results in nicely packed closed cases which they remain stable in a pallet load. This is very important for logistics, you don't want pallets that will sink crookedly at the top of the cold store or during transport and get stuck in a pallet place or trailer.

Test before you invest
The demo room is equipped with ten cameras: eight fixed ones at essential positions in the CP201 line, so that you can clearly see what the function of the different modules are, as well as a fixed camera on a tripod outside the line for a presentation, with a mobile hand camera if you want to show a specific detail of the machine to the customer. All these cameras can be operated via a remote control at the line from behind a desk where all information comes together next to the line.

For good communication, two 45-inch TVs have also been installed in the demo room, which are linked to a clear sound system so that the customer can also be clearly heard and visible. On the second TV you see the images that the customer sees. Travel is currently very difficult during the corona pandemic. With this, CPS has created a tool with which demonstrations and thus the features of the case packer can be explained to the customer and demonstrated remotely. "This can be done with available test products or with the customer's own products. This gives you a real-time live demonstration, in which the customer is informed as if he were standing next to the line. A second option is to record the demonstration and digitally Manufacturers around the world can now see an individual evaluation of their own products with detailed information on the achievable packaging characteristics, performance and savings of automatic packaging with a CPS case packer. Or the demonstration will be recorded and digitally sent to the customer." the company said.
